| Bio: | This is a journal created to talk about, and sometimes give updates on, Wicked Faire and the Labyrinth, as well as the process of trying to put those things together. It will probably have a few maintainers. Jeff Mach is writing this--hi! Pleasure to make your acquaintance. I like sadomasochism, overthinking, planning, putting on events, and, whenever I can afford it, interesting food. Unlike, say, the community group ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} wickedfaire, wherein a lot of the posts by Faire staff are requests for assistance and the like, this journal will attempt to contain......well, I was going to say "News and updates", but that's not quite true; or, more specifically, that's not quite what I want. We certainly do plan to write a lot of posts dealing with news, developments, and generally cool things about these events-- but the goal here is to write about them honestly and candidly, and most of all, from the heart. Oh, sure, we're going to be saying mostly good things about what's going on; this is our festival, after all, and if we didn't like the things we try to put into it, we wouldn't put them in. But we'll try hard to give our feelings; not just "So-and-so is a fabulous band, and you should spend money to see them"; instead, "Here's this band, and this is what I feel about having them here, this is why we invited them". | |||||
